That explains me. Apologies, John, for my past transgressions ;-)

I was born a bastard @#$hole in Akron, adopted to f@#%ing Aurora, OH at 3
mos and then was a s#*thead in Chardon, OH until 14 before moving to AZ,
FL, Beijing, then NM.:-)

Gil, I learned the term "Grawlixes" from your video. It got me thinking
this could be a fun coding challenge for you using Claude in VSCode. Write
a chrome extension that filter/replaces grawlixes when using gmail compose
and only to [email protected] :That will give you cathartic expression and
we can continue to update the fitler -) We'll chip in a $200 Amazon Gift
Certificate bounty :-) Basic approach:

# Gmail Grawlix Extension

## Goal
Create a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that:
- Runs **only on Gmail** (`https://mail.google.com/*`)
- Monitors **compose editor** (and optionally Subject)
- Replaces configured bad words with **grawlixes** in real time
- Loads its word/regex list from an **external JSON URL** at
https://redfish.com/friam/grawlix-filter.json
- Caches rules locally and refreshes them periodically
---

## 1. External JSON Wordlist

Use a single HTTPS endpoint, e.g.:

**https://redfish.com/friam/grawlix-filter.json**

JSON shape:

```json
{
  "rules": [
    {
      "pattern": "\\basshole\\b",
      "flags": "gi",
      "replacement": "@#$hole"
    },
    {
      "pattern": "\\bfucking\\b",
      "flags": "gi",
      "replacement": "f@#%ing"
    },
    {
      "pattern": "\\bshithead\\b",
      "flags": "gi",
      "replacement": "sh!thead"
    }
  ]
}
