I just meant that it could be one possible coevolutionary outcome, not yours. It took me a long time to grasp a large organization (like LANL) as a host organism. I can thank Trump for learning it applies to nations too.

More likely "hiding in plain sight"... I like your use of the term "cognitive dominance". It was very unequivocal albeit non-coerced. Made it easy for me to submit to institutional (LANL) life even though I sandwiched those 27 years on either side with a decade or more of entrepreneurial activity. While it *was* chafing I came to it with good callouses.
