I think we should have sepatate ChangeLog entry for each commit.
That is each commit should add header line with date, even if
date is the same as previuous commit. Such convention
make it easier to correlate ChangeLog with commit. Also, putting
things in a single entry suggest that they are related, but
above they are clearly unrelated.
BTW. I think that we should do a little renaming:
ChangeLog.wh -> ChangeLog
CHANGELOG -> CHANGELOG.old
*/ChangeLog.build-improvements -> ChangeLog.bu
The first to chages should make thing clearer, the third should get
rid of very long names
