Well, breqn doesn't deal with frac and the other problem I had is fixed in the current version of breqn... I think I'll go for that one, however, this means we have to switch to LaTeX, or (maybe better), have )set output latex on as an alternative. It would be great if we could find out how to make preview not cut off overfull boxes, but rather increase the bounding box... Furthermore, we should be more careful for fractions: even in the algebra output, we display fractions only if numerator and denominator are "short", otherwise we use "/"... Too many things at once, I guess.
