This probably does not affect you: Debian tends to apply bug fixes from newer version or developement tree and the bug was fixed befor newer version was released. IIRC the bug was in directory function. The effect was that build would fail in the middle. There was another bug in 1.0.29, IIRC atan would give wrong result -- you will see failing test.
Ehm... since I am not yet that far iin understanding all of the build. Up to now I always thought that the tests are run when I compile fricas from scratch. No?
