In the installation directory of fricas, there is a fricas/target/i686-pc-linux/algebra/*.fasl
But seemingly, only AXIOMsys is needed to start FriCAS. When will the .fasl files be necessary? When I try to compile a .spad file? No... that also seems to work for some simple examples.
