Currently FriCAS contains code that is supposed to translate Spad
to Aldor. In the past I checked that in simple case it produced
some rosonably looking output. However later I wanted to see
Aldor equivalent for some tricky Spad construct and the translator
crashed. So the code is probably unsuitable for serious use.
In principle when Spad compiler chanages the translator should be
adjusted to match. In simple cases like renaming or removal of
variables I did this but not in more complicated cases, so
even if translator originally worked (however, NAG documentation
does _not_ promise it to work...) it may be broken by changes
to Spad compiler.
I propose to remove it -- the burden of keeping it in the source
tree is light, but there seem to be no benefit at all in keeping it.
Opinions?
