Hello, I am trying to get a working build of FriCAS on Mac OS X. My requirements are such that this must be built with ECL as opposed to one of the other Lisp compilers. I am attempting to build the latest version of FriCAS (1.1.3) and ECL (11.1.1). With this combination the, build process gets hung up. I have tried several other version combinations of FriCAS and ECL, but they fail to build for one reason or another.
Has anyone successfully built and run FriCAS with ECL on the Mac? I am using Mac OS X 10.6.8 with the latest Xcode tools. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
