mappkg.spad.pamphlet looks like it has lots of useful stuff for higher
order functions such as currying?

However when the packages are called things like:
MappingPackageInternalHacks
and the comments for some of the functions are "Unused and buggy" this
does not inspire confidence.

Concerning the other issues you mention, It would be really
interesting for me to discuss some of the issues that you mention
relating to category theory. However I don't want to detract from
Yrogirgs thread or annoy other members of the group. I get the
impression this group is more for specific questions about FriCAS and
when I mention anything else it seems to spiral out of control ending
with an argument about the meaning of the word "group". Its probably
best if I try to learn more about category theory by myself.
