I have put updated version of Lapack interface at:
http://www.math.uni.wroc.pl/~hebisch/fricas/lapack/
Now it contains:
- real and complex eigenvalues
- singular value deconposition SVD
- real matrix multiplication
I wonder which routines we should include? Certainly computing
eigenvectors and solving systems of equations. And have all
routines both in complex and real version. Probably
LR and QR decompositions. Maybe generalized eigenvalues.
Maybe GLM statistical method.
Lapack contains several specialized routines for matrices of
special form (triangular, band, symmetric, hermitian). Most
of them would require specialized types of FriCAS side, so
ATM I plan to omit them. Also, I plan to omit most of
lower level routimes.
Some remarks:
- The interface uses specialized array and vectors: DoubleFloatVector,
DoubleFloatMatix, ComplexDoubleFloatVector, ComplexDoubleFloatMatix.
You need reasonably recent FriCAS which includes them.
- Current version is still sbcl-only.
