a) Maybe FriCAS can message when loading:
    "FriCAS 1.1.5  with  Lisp = such and such version"?

I'm also in favour of showing the LISP flavour and version. It's not vital for me, since I always can extract it from the build directory. Still, it would be nice to be able identify the the build parameters from AXIOMsys. I wouldn't mind calling ")lisp (something)".

I think, I would already be satisfied, if the data is stored in the "fricas" script and could be extracted via "fricas --version", but somehow, I think that AXIOMsys would be the better place. Since ")version" does not have a really structured output, adding the lisp flavour+version doesn't seem so bad.
