But you can also use fricas in batch mode. In your shell simply call.
echo ")compile dex.spad"|fricas -nosman > compile.log 2>&1
--- Redirect to compile.log.
echo ")compile dex.spad"|fricas -nosman|tee compile.log 2>&1
--- Redirect to compile.log and show on standard output.
