I don't seem to be able to make sense out of
http://fricas.github.io/api/LinearAggregate.html#l-linear-aggregate-new
new : (NonNegativeInteger, S) -> %
++ new(n, x) returns \spad{fill!(new n, x)}.
because there is no "new: NonNegativeInteger -> %" exported from String,
for example.
