Well, I would like to make new release.  ATM there is problem
with Sourceforge, but as soon as it is resolved I would like
to start release process.

Agreed concerning error prone.  Concerning failing compilation:
AFAICS without entry in Makefile there is race condition,
default will be compiled eventually but possibly too late.
If default if not compiled at point of use then Spad
compilation will fail.

My commit failed, and using lynx I see:

   We're sorry -- the Sourceforge site is currently in Disaster Recovery        
   mode, and currently requires the use of javascript to function. Please       
   check back later.
