No influence on second (aldor compiliation) part.  As I wrote
previously this one is OK and can do in.

AFAICS the first one should be unnecessary now: if BreakMode is
quit then 'spadThrow' should quit now.

BTW: There are places where 'spadThrow' should simply return
control to toplevel interpreter loop.  In such places
BreakMode is throw_reader.  So to get correct handling we
need to make sure that BreakMode is bound to correct value.
