Below is copy of the announcement that I posted in the
newsgroups. ATM at sourceforge we have source tarball and
Linux (32 and 64 bit x86) and Mac OSX binaries.

BTW: Thanks for build reports.

------------

FriCAS is an advanced computer algebra system. Its capabilities range
from calculus (integration and differentiation) to abstract algebra.
It can plot functions and has integrated help system.

FriCAS 1.2.6 should build on Linux and many Unix like systems (for
example Mac OSX and Cygwin).

FriCAS is build on top of Common Lisp; several Lisps can compile
and run FriCAS -- currently supported are GCL, SBCL, Clisp, ECL
and Closure CL (former OpenMCL).

Notable changes (compared to version 1.2.5) include:

- Polynomial factorization is available for larger class
  of base rings.

- Improvements to integrator.

- 'normalize' can be applied to list of expressions.

- Eigenvalues can be computed over larger range of base fields.

- Common denomiantor package handles now multivariate polynomials.

- More uniform break (error) handling.

Bug fixes, in particular:

- 'distribute' handles 'box' operator.

- Fixed problem with guessing over multivariate polynomilas.

- Fixed hashcode handling for Void in Aldor.
