OK, that saves me endless searching.

Yes, a GB computation is als what led me to SplitHomogeneousDirectProduct.

I must say, I never liked the #vl appearing internally.
In my case, I can perhaps just use PolynomialRing(R, E) and forget about
the names of the variables.
