Hmm, there are only IndexedMatrix, Matrix, RectangularMatrix, SquareMatrix, right? I don't think users have a choice. subSylvesterMatrix(S, j) is not a SquareMatrix. Nobody uses IndexedMatrix. RectangularMatrix is not used much and does not fit this domain (matrices are of not same size). So people can only use Matrix. > AFAICS it is the same patch.
