I prefer 4 spaces too. But in these patches I sometimes use
2 spaces indentation to make the patch minial (avoid indentation
only changes).

Should I use 4 spaces indentation regardless of patch size
in the future?

I prefer a little to avoid parenthesis around one argument
function application. But I'm fine with the other option.
We definitely want to use space over parenthesis in the
case of one-argument-function composition, right?

I would be appreciated if you can write these "developing
guideline/style" in a file in the repo, and I would follow
that in the future.
As for this patch, you can commit it with your prefered
style (and I'll learn from it).
