I prefer 4 spaces too. But in these patches I sometimes use 2 spaces indentation to make the patch minial (avoid indentation only changes). I prefer a little to avoid parenthesis around one argument function application. But I'm fine with the other option. We definitely want to use space over parenthesis in the case of one-argument-function composition, right? I would be appreciated if you can write these "developing guideline/style" in a file in the repo, and I would follow that in the future.
