I think that Bill was asking why Any is the return type of taylor(sin x, x=0)$EXPR2UPS(INT, EXPR INT).
If I remember correctly, the reason is that fricas does not have dependent types: the type of taylor(sin x, x=0) depends on the symbol x and the center 0...
