I do not think so. libffi is needed by ECL, FriCAS knows
nothing about it. IIUC ECL bundled libffi, so in principle
libffi may be present, but in rather unobvious place
(some internal ECL subdirectory). In other words the
only resonable way to test is to try actual build.
That would require duplicating build logic in configure,
I do not find this reasonable.
