No, you can see the error message in float.spad:

(1) -> 0.0^0.0

   >> Error detected within library code:
   0^0 is undefined

(1) -> 0.0^(0::FRAC INT)

   >> Error detected within library code:
   0^0 is undefined


The point is, is "0^0=1" valid for floats?
