I do not know. Basically to I need to:
1) transfer virtual image from server to my work machine (done)
2) install Virtual Box on my work machine
3) run virtual image in Virtual Box to see what the problem
is and fix it
Some time ago system disk in my machine crashed. Instead of
restoring old OS (which was quite dated) I installed a new one.
Due to this I have lost a lot of extras (including Virtual Box)
installed on old system. ATM I need to work out why Virtual
Box does not want to install: its installer complains about
missing dependencies, package manager claims that needed
things are installed but apparently there was a name
change inbetween.
Anyway, I have also other things to do so it may be some
days before I work out what the problem with Virtual Box
is.
