Dear Bill, Please accept my congratulations for all your hard work in developing the SEXPR domain. This seems to lead to a complete system for manipulating and simplifying symbolic expressions in fricas, including trigonometric functions, etc.
I wanted to make some comments about the following. (1) I hope that the SEXPR domain will be included in the next version of fricas. (2) Is there a debian package for fricas that can be conveniently installed with the synaptic package manager in ubuntu based linux? (3) Given a matrix in fricas with symbolic entries of type SEXPR. Will fricas automatically re-generate all the built-in linear algebra functions like nullspace, determinant, etc for this type of matrix? (4) Is the above possible for other built-in fricas functions?
