tests and then gives a overall report and exit code is better.

That hasn't updated in a long time (with NOTANGLE stuff).  And requires
perl?

Well, I'm not familair with various test frameworks, I don't know much
about "best practice".  Although I'm a little concerned with current string/
InputForm based "eval" strategy, but that's another topic.
