I certainly have a non-release version of FriCAS, but I don't believe
that I have touched such deep internals in the patches that are added in
my version.

Running "fricas -nosman" and hitting Ctrl-d simply exits fricas and I am
back to the commandline of my bash.

Inside "fricas" the behaviour is different (basically as described
above), BUT I have to press ENTER before the above error message
appears. Ctrl-D alone does nothing.
