ubuntu is the most used Linux distro. But I am not able to find Fricas
ubuntu package.

I could find sagemath and also xcas.

>apt-cache search giac
xcas - Computer Algebra System - console and graphical calculator

>apt-cache search sagemath
sagemath - Open Source Mathematical Software

>apt-cache search fricas
>

The manual installations instructions at
http://fricas.sourceforge.net/doc/INSTALL.txt can be daunting with all the
Prerequisites
needed.

Are there plans to make Ubuntu package for Fricas?

Thanks
