I suggest this then:

   -b '(){}[],+-=&^%$#@";|\:<>*~'"'"

It adds :<>*~ in addition to the defaults. ('/' is in defaults.)

')}]' can still be useful in completion, at least they do no harm.

If there's no objection, I will commit it later.

After digging more into FriCAS code I would suggest:

exec $RLWRAP -b "([{><,\'\"\+-\*/\\~=\^\$#@;\:" -f $CFILE "$@"

Any suggestions are as usual welcome.
