I think the easiest way to get a feel for PayPal is to just try it out yourself... Go to http://buyorganic.org and follow the link to sign up. The idea is that you can send money to anyone with an email address, and bill individuals or groups. Anyone can pay anyone else with a credit card, check, bank transfer, or PayPal balance. And a clear transaction history is kept in your account. Anyway, I am going to start requiring that people sign up with PayPal and send $5 to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in order to join the buying club. That will make sure everyone in the club is setup with PayPal, and will help build the buying club fund. (I need to write more about this later...) By the way, everyone on this list should get a "friends-moderated" digest tomorrow at about 11 am. I just synchronized the two lists so people can decide which version is best for them.
