Hi everyone, I had lunch with Julie Dudley today, who is working on Earth Day, and gave me the phone number to find out about setting up a booth there. We decided this would be an excellent opportunity to get the word out about the buying club. I just called Environmental Leadership at 323-3433 and found out the deadline is today, and the fee for a non-profit is $60, (or $120 for a business). We have a little over $60 available in the buying club fund now, so unless anyone has objections, (or donations), I will plan to use those funds to reserve a booth for the April 22 Earth Day event. Of course, we also need volunteers to man the booth, and make up small cards or fliers to hand out. (I'm sure we can make that happen...) Please let us know if you have comments or ideas to help... Thanks, -jeb PS: There is a public planning meeting today at 5:30 pm at Round Table Pizza on Fourth and Vine, which I may try to attend for more info...
