I am taking the allowed time to air my views courtesy of someone who has
given us the privilege to have the opportunity to offer my perspective
(thanks Jeb)

But, I may be part of a small minority of communications professionals in
this group who thinks that we -- for the example noted above -- should have
a central unit that cleans up things before they become "public".
Therefore, I would be willing to play the role of an editor to clean up the
information before we post items that may inadvertently make us look
presumably unpolished before the rest of the world.

I am not suggesting anyone fear such a role-player on the matters being
shared (e.g., political, social, economical), but just someone there to make
sure our "I" s are dotted and our "T"s are crossed before we post our
identity to the rest of the world.

Thoughts?
