Hi everybody, We would like to heartily thank you all of you who could come to the Gymkhana Club on the 21st Aug and encourage the team. It was a beautiful sunny day and we can now proudly say that we could leave a bit of Assam in the hearts of the 6000+ audience who attended India's 70th Independence Day Celebrations.
Attached are a few pictures and press reports. We continue to seek your good wishes and blessings as we move ahead with our objective of promoting the rich culture and heritage of Assam amongst the people from the rest of the world residing in the UK. *We would also like to urge the assamese diaspora spread across the world to continue with the efforts of promoting our culture with your local crowd and be the brand ambassador for our state.* Pratidin Time report : https://www.facebook.com/ BordoisilaBihuGosthi1/videos/243005606095954/ Many thanks and regards, জয় আই অসম ৷৷ Jai Hind Rrituraj Sharma +44 740 472 4721 (on behalf go Team BBG) in cc : Team BBG On Fri, Aug 19, 2016 at 10:27 AM, rrituraj SHARMA <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear Members, > > It gives me immense pleasure to inform you all that the Indian High > Commission, London has invited *Team Bordoisila Bihu Gosthi* to perform > 'Bihu' - the traditional dance from Assam - on the occasion of India's 70th > Independence celebrations to be held at the Indian Gymkhana Club on Sunday, > the 21st of August from 10 am onwards.
