Continue publishing Janasadharan: NEUWJ Guwahati: North East Union of Working Journalists (NEUWJ) expresses its worry over the sudden closure of Janasadharan (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janasadharan), an Assamese daily published simultaneously from Guwahati and Dibrugarh, since 19 November 2016 and urged the management to continue publishing the newspaper. For any unwanted reason, if the management cannot republish the newspaper, the NEUWJ demands legal compensations to each and every employee of the media house. It also appeals to the editor of the newspaper, Dr Sivanath Barman, who is a recognized Assamese intellectual, to take personal interest in resolving the crisis amicably.
