Apollo doctor to grace press club clinic Guwahati: The Apollo Hospitals Chennai will conduct the next healthcamp under the series of ‘Evening with a Doctor’ programs at GuwahatiPress Club (GPC) on 18 March 2017. Dr KN Srinivasan, seniorcardiologist from the prestigious healthcare institute will beavailable for free consultation in the evening OPD clinic.The camp, open for GPC members along with their dependants, willbegin at 3 pm and continue till 6 pm. Participants with cardio-relatedailments and also those, who depend on regular medicines for bloodpressure variations, are requested to join the camp for the expertviews and necessary direction.Earlier, the Saturday clinic at the press club premises wasconducted by the city based Institute of Dental Science & ResearchCenter. Representing the State’s first low cost dental care center,Dr Deep Sharma and Dr Nirmala K Roy conducted a general oral & dentalhealth diagnosis and treatment program.It may be mentioned that the GPC launched the unique healthcareprogram with initial supports from Dr Jayanta Bardoloi, managingdirector of Dispur Hospitals in last August. The city based hospitalalso conducted the first evening clinic on the press club campus.Till date a number of practicing doctors from Medanta-The MedicityHospital, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospitals, GNRC Group of Hospitals,Down Town Hospitals, Sankaradeva Nethralaya Guwahati, SwagatSuper-Surgical Institute, Wintrobe Hospital, Barthakur Clinic, NemcareHospital, Rahman Hospitals, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight Firsteye-clinic, Government Ayurvedic College etc attended the camps.
