The proposed program will be conducted in Queensland University Campus, Brisbane, Australia from 10-16 Feb,2017. MIT received around 1400 applications worldwide and selected around 90 candidates from various countries. My application got selected based on my business proposal to develop health friendly apparels and medical textile products from Eri & Muga silk available in North Eastern India. The project will give direct benefits to 2,000 farmers and weavers involved in this agro-based industry. Moreover, the economic return of the project will be linked to grass-root level workers through two community organizations. Although I applied for institutional scholarship from MIT, but they had very limited scholarship and I couldn't have one.Thus, I am looking for grants to meet the below expenses- Tuition Fee = US $ 6 , 000 Travel /Accommodation /Visa ( approx)= US $ 2 , 000 I have attached my invitation letter as well as Boot Camp Impact report ( details of the program) for your reference.
