Sharing this good news - Sattriya dance in Royal Albert Hall in London

Dr. Menaka PP Bora is invited by the highly prestigious Royal Albert Hall in 
London to produce and perform her own show- 29th November 2019 at 8 PM. She is 
arguably the first Indian classical dance artiste to perform her own show at 
Royal Albert Hall. Previously Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar and Pandit Ravi 
Shankar graced the iconic hall as invited Indian artists.

Join award-winning classical dance soloist, Bollywood choreographer-actor and 
musicologist and daughter of legendary Indira PP Bora - Menaka PP Bora for an 
evening of conversation, dance and music at the world’s most iconic concert 
hall, Royal Albert Hall.

As part of the evening Menaka will be joined by legendary British television 
broadcaster Alan Yentob, where the former Creative Director of BBC and 
editor/presenter of the acclaimed BBC One series Imagine… will take part in a 
conversation on ideas, inspiration and humanity in 21st century Britain with 
Menaka.

Menaka’s debut performance at the Royal Albert Hall will include freshly 
choreographed pieces from classical and experimental South Asian dance and 
music, including the rare 16th century Indian classical Sattriya dance of Assam.

She will also be joined by renowned guest musicians and musicologists Prof. 
John Baily and Veronica Doubleday for the live performance.
