Bonjour,

Voila le dernier update recu du consortium :

SMW4 Segment 1.10 (India Mumbai – BU1D) repeater fault
· SMW4 S1.10 encountered cable problem at 1102UTC 16-Jan-2015.
All protected IPL/EPL were switched to the alternate path and loss of
protection. Unprotected EPL/IPL remains down until the completion of
cable repair. The fault is determined at about 42km from Mumbai cable
station due to a faulty repeater R026. The consortium decided to replace
both R024 and R026 repeaters in the cable repair operations.
Cable ship ASEAN Restorer commenced the repeaters replacement on 6-Mar and
completed the 1st repeater R026 replacement on 8-Mar. The ship will
commence another repeater R024 replacement. The SMW4 path will be on/off
and/or down during the period. The tentative repair completion date is
16-Mar

Best Regards
