employees. We’re looking for a dynamic DevOps Engineer to join our growing
Devops team!
As part of the Devops team at Zendesk you’ll solve problems relating to mission
critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Our
mission is to accelerate product engineering productivity without sacrificing
reliability.
What you get to do everyday:
Solve complex problems and provide simple elegant solutions
Build and improve the tools we use to run an Alexa top 400 website with
over 75,000 customers
Collaborate with your Operations teammates in Copenhagen, Dublin,
Melbourne, and San Francisco
Improve our configuration management tooling and infrastructure
Design and enhance deployment pipelines for releasing new code and
configuration into production
Analyze performance, usage patterns and capacity constraints and tune our
underlying systems
Use a wide variety of technologies, wear lots of hats (actual hats optional)
Conduct periodic on-call duties using a follow the sun model
Work in an agile development environment and believe that pragmatism always
triumphs over dogmatism
