This saturday...InstallFest. Around this time of the year it gets busy again (school wise), So even more thanks to FSCK members that help out installing linux on combuters of newbies!
The installFest is a big thing. Seeing that most people's schedule is full, I propose that we prospone our next meeting -- until the Midterms are over. In fact, I have talked to current and a couple of prospective members who all said that Wed. is the worst day of all to meet. Thursdays seemed to work for people the best. So I think we shoot for that day. Bottom line: no meeting this Wed. Next meeting: Thursday, Oct 21 For those folks that have questions regarding the use or the configuration of their new linux box the mailing list is going to remain the best resource. Nevertheless, if you want to give your contact information to the person you're helping tomorrow that would be a cool motion! I will be doing that, we will see how it goes. ** Even if you can't stay all the four hours tomorrow you still should come. We need your help. Alex PS ** We won't meet for a while. Nevertheless, there are several things that I am going to point out to you. Mainly it is about working with the TLTR for the advancement of Free, Libre and Open Source. But that to be explained later in more detail. 'til tomorrow, alex ----------------------------------------------------------------- To get off this list, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Subject: unsubscribe -----------------------------------------------------------------
