1. You may notice that it isn't working right now. That is because O'Reilly (or their proxies) noticed "suspicious activities" from Truman machines. That probably means that someone was running a spider or something of that sort. We are not allowed to do that. I hope the account will be reactivated soon.
2. Faculty have a lot of input into choosing which books will be among the 50 when our regular account access starts in 3 or 4 weeks. I recommended a list of about 20 books that I thought would be good, including a bunch of Python, Perl, HTML, CSS, Javascript related books. We will be able to adjust the 50 books we get on a monthly basis. I am willing to serve as a point of contact if you want to express interest in particular books being part of our subscription.
