I copied the script that I use to my t drive. Its at http://www2.truman.edu/~d1986/umount

You can either copy it to wherever and use it, or just type the lines when you need them.

Hey all,

I graduated a while back, so I'm not around there anymore - but my little
sister is up there, and I've got Mandrake 10 installed on her machine. She
was asking me how to get her machine to browse to her friends computers
through the network (she is still in a dorm), and if it was possible to mount
her Y drive. I could ssh or vnc into her computer and help her out, but I was
off campus before I ever put Linux on my box, so I'm not so fluent with this
problem.

Has anyone ever written up a simple HOWTO for getting their linux machine on
the campus network? And I don't mean getting network connectivity - I've got
her set up for that.

Thanks,
