Dear Melvin --
Has anyone
from FSCK, or from Truman, replied to your SOS?
If so,
please tell me, so that I can stop trying to find some sort of support
for you. (Reply to ME, not to the fsck listserv.)
If you
have
NOT received useful replies, effective support,
please answer these questions:
Do you
remain in good health? (Or are you sick -- medically ill?)
Do you
find yourself in a safe environment? (For example, free from threats of
violence at the hands of strangers?)
Do you
have a roof over your head, protection from cold and from rain, sleet or
snow?
Do you
have access to safe food? (Enough money to eat in restaurants, or the
kindness of friends, etc.)
Are you a
foreign student? (If so, I can get in touch with the International
Student Office in your behalf.)
With
answers to such questions, I can know what kind of support to seek to
find for you.
If you
still say of yourself, "SOS", I'll continue trying to find
support for you. I live far from St. Louis, and cannot come to your aid
myself; but if you need help, I'll make further efforts to find help for
you.

Hello,
I do not know if this is the right medium for this. But due to some
reasons I am stranded in St Louis. Please if anyone is going back to
Kirksville sometime this week and would not mind picking me, that would
be greatly appreciated.
I tended my apologies if this appeal is an abuse to the system. Thank
you.
Melvin
