I know it seems redundant and licensing issues are (almost) always a 
pain. This topic is rather bureaucratic but it's like a backup for me 
and whoever comes after me.  (all admin books are telling you that you 
wish that you had made a backup ...that sort of thing is going on).

Over the last year it dawned me that the difference between open-source 
and free software is always something that is to consider in an 
organization. 
Below is a list of licenses approved by the open-source folks. What are 
*free software* club members thinking? I don't expect people to go thru 
the entire list but I hope it reminds the one or the other about issues 
they would like to resolve. If no reply follows to this post then 
that's cool; it would show me at least that different licensing schemes 
are not an issue for us. Otherwise, it's better to bring up the topic.
