Hey, I just wanted to remind everybody that we are going to have an FSCK meeting this evening in Violette Hall 1142 at 6:00pm. The agenda will be something like:
- Linux handheld used for troubleshooting networking issues demoed by Ben Jordan of Truman ITS - Apple iPhone? Psssh, check out these open-source based phones. - Possible side project/competition: Distributed.net (very similar to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) represents one of the largest distributed computers in the world. Clients are available for just about any platform, how fast can your OSS box crank out keys? - Google Summer of Code has been announced. There are some changes from last year. SoC is a great way to be involved OSS and get paid for it. - In 2003, FSCK along with ACM and TWiCS sponsored a Richard Stallman talk as part of an "open-source" week. Maybe we should look at doing something similar again. Bring ideas. - Open discussion and help time. I anticipate the meeting should be over by 8pm at the latest (that's when I need to leave). So be there and bring a friend. Thanks, Jason ----------------------------------------------------------------- To get off this list, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Subject: unsubscribe -----------------------------------------------------------------
