Truman Faculty / Staff email is hosted on an Exchange system. Most people connect to it with Microsoft Outlook but you can use other email clients.
My normal faculty / staff work email client is a Mac with Entourage. Mac Mail works fine too but I prefer Entourage. I also frequently use Thunderbird on Linux. Evolution works OK but on Linux I prefer Thunderbird (my two work computers are Linux and Mac). When off campus I either use the Exchange web interface or a BlackBerry. Our network engineer uses an iPhone. Truman student email is hosted on TruView. It uses iPlanet for it's email. There is a fair amount of information available about the Truman email systems on the ITS web page, http://its.truman.edu Jim M On 2/18/09 12:21 PM, "Alexander Horn" <[email protected]> wrote: > From what I know, ITS uses Outlook to maintain faculty email.
