Hi all, Recently I made the switch to mutt and is totally happy with it. I'm currently redirecting all my truman/personal/business mails to my fastmail.fm account, and sending emails 'on behalf of' my truman account by using fastmail smtp via esmtp. Complicated but sensible.
Now I have one more account [email protected] -- and I have to receive and send emails 'on behalf of' that account also. Receiving mails from that account is trivial but sending is troublesome. I would like to be able to choose from which address I want a new mail to be sent from, as well as being able to tell mutt to reply to emails sent to *[email protected] as my truman account and *[email protected] as [email protected]. Also, esmtp must be configured acordingly. I have no clue how to figure that out. Also, I have to update my GNUPG2 public key to include the new @myname.net address -- how do I do that? Does it invalidate my current signatures? I wonder if anyone has experiences with that and what's your solution? Mutt is fantastic so far but if it can't do what I want it to, I don't mind switching to another mail client as long as the client runs on NIX and has to support gnupg. As I hate web browsers, gmail web interface is not a choice. Mail.app is one of my favourites but the GnuPG plugin is broken on Snow so unless the author of GnuPG for mail.app fixes the plugin, it's not a choice either. Thunderbird is fine, but I will only use it when I have no other choices. Any idea is highly appreciated.
