KDE-ie's software patent briefing and information campaign to irish MEPs

One strength may be that KDE can present a very visible set of applications, which work, have pretty screenshots, are strongly European, and are easy for MEPs to understand, which can really make concrete in MEPs' minds the danger that software patents could shut down the whole project.



Could something similar be done by a high-profile project in the UK, to illustrate for UK MEPs the concreteness of the threat ?
