similar?
Celebrity endorsements are all the rage these days for charities etc.,
and Stephen Fry isn't stupid - it would be better to have Stephen Fry
representing something Free Softwarey than... I dunno The Spice Girls.
[1] I don't know who "we" is exactly, but any organisations which
promote free Software in the UK might want a go.
