Hello sister and brother delegates, Hope you've had refreshing and joyful times in your holidays and that you and yours have been feeling well. I miss our laughter and good karma and good talks together, and look forward to our January 17th gathering.
All of us received a call from Lesley for a picante article about the ftaa reality tour. This note is to encourage YOU to say "si se puede (yes it can be done), and I'll do it!" It can be done in different ways. A couple or few people can do separate but coordinated articles on different aspects of the trip, or they can collaborate on one article. The article(s) doesn't have to include everything by any stretch, and can focus on any aspects of the experience you wish to share with the PICA newsletter receiving audience, ie. a large but extremely friendly audience, never known to bite. The due date for an article is January 9. Dennis and I figure that people out there in Picante land are sick of hearing our particular two voices in articles and so we won't volunteer for writing, but would be happy to consult if you want to bounce subject ideas off of us. Better yet, why not use the listserv and you can bounce subject ideas off all of us? Please consider being one of the writers, and let our listserv know soon (like tomorrow or the next day!), so that those who write the article will have ample time. We're trying to gather together all those who expressed interest in helping work on the presentation for our two events, the 25th and the 30th in January. But I wasn't at the last meeting, and Den couldn't remember who had volunteered. Let us know if one of those volunteers was you, as we're trying to meet asap. Gracias amigas y amigos.
