Backspace results in mal-formed expression.

disabled by the previous redo/undo patch.)
* Removed gotos from do_expression function. (This change might add
unstability as this is a major change to the expression mode state
machine.)
* Functions (such as sin, cos, tan..) can use previously calculated value.
